about us
The Estonian Relief Committee in Canada (ERC) – a non-profit and charitable organization – has been connecting Estonians living in Canada through community-based services and providing support programs and financial aid to Estonians in need in Canada. Formed in 1950, the ERC first provided support for Estonian refugees and veterans arriving in Canada from Germany and Sweden and helped them find employment and housing. Whenever possible, the ERC provided support to the many children, elderly, disabled and sick individuals and well as other compatriots who were left behind in Europe and needed assistance.
